NSP-C Snow Sports School

Our Mission Statement

The NCP-C Snowsports School is a traveling school serving the patrols in Minnesota, parts of Wisconsin and South Dakota. We provide ski/ride enhancement seminars (SES's) to ski patrollers in this region who want to attain NSP Senior certification, PSIA/AASI certification, hill trainers who want to improve their teaching skills, and any patroller who wants to improve their ski/ride skills. We also want to add numbers to our instructor ranks by helping patrollers to find pathways to certification in the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA)/ American Association or Snowboard Instructors (AASI) organization. Our school utilizes PSIA/AASI Level II and III instructors to teach patrollers.

Want to improve your skiing to handle toboggans more easily, ski more efficiently, or get ready for a big ski trip?

Join us at a Snowsports Enhancement Seminar (SES) in our region. The cost is $25 for a full day of instruction form PSIA/AASI certified instructors, plus lift ticket ($0~$25 per ski area management). There are several SES events at different ski areas throughout the season. You can register and pay through the events calendar on this website. Snowboard and telemark instruction are offered at some events. Register early to secure your spot. Our number one goal is fun!

Become PSIA/ASSI Certified

Are you training to become PSIA/AASI certified?

Come train with our snow pros at any of our Snowsports Enhancement Seminars (SES) around the region. Work on your ski/ride proficiency in our all-day lesson. There may be opportunities for you to teach a portion of a class. Let your instructor know your goals for certification. We can help. The cost is $25 for a full day of instruction form PSIA/AASI certified instructors, plus lift ticket ($0~$25 per ski area management). Training for NSP Senior

Are you training for your NSP senior certification?

We can help. Join us at any Snowsports Enhancement Seminar (SES) to get pro instruction to reach your goal! The cost is $25 for a full day of instruction form PSIA/AASI certified instructors, plus lift ticket ($0~$25 per ski area management). Simply mention to our staff that you are working towards senior certification, and we will ensure you get the help and feedback you need to practice and hone your skills. Train the Trainer

This class is intended for hill trainers who want to improve their eye and teaching skills. Join us at any of our Snowsports Enhancement Seminars (SES) around the region and learn from our pro NSP instructors how to spot ineffective ski technics and movements, and how to help your students correct them. The cost is $25 for a full day of instruction form PSIA/AASI certified instructors, plus lift ticket ($0~$25 per ski area management).
